Subject: Henry Whitter is the harmonica player, not Doc Watson
I don't know how Doc Watson could have played Rain Crow Bill on this old record, despite what another reviewer stated. Henry Whitter recorded it in 1923, the year of Doc's birth, and again in 1927 when Doc was 4. This recording is obviously the work of a mature player, not a fetus, infant or small child.

Subject: Great song
The rain crow isn't a crow, of course, it's a yellow billed cuckoo, and Henry Whittier didn't play the harmonica solo on "Rain Crow Bill" that was Arthel Lane "Doc" Watson (who started playing the harmonica when he was five and then moved on to the guitar, the banjo, and so on). Doc has been blind since he was very young, is still alive, and is 86.

Great song, though.
